How we built a different kind of consulting practice

The problem we experienced firsthand

summit-space emerged from lived necessity, not academic theory. Our founder, a former operations director managing supply chain networks across Asia-Pacific, found herself navigating a familiar trap. Three children under seven. A role demanding responsiveness at all hours. A marriage strained by asymmetric domestic load.

Traditional executive coaching offered generic time-blocking advice. Parenting resources assumed reduced career ambition. Neither addressed the actual challenge: designing systems that honored both commitments fully.

What started as personal experimentation became a methodology. When colleagues began asking how she maintained board-level performance while being present for every school event, the framework evolved into a consultancy.

Our methodology combines three disciplines

Most consultancies specialize in either organizational design or personal development. We integrate operations research, family systems theory, and international business protocols into a unified framework.

This hybrid approach recognizes that executive effectiveness and household stability are interconnected systems. Optimizing one while ignoring the other produces fragile solutions that collapse under real-world pressure.

Every client engagement begins with mapping both systems simultaneously. We identify dependencies, bottlenecks, and hidden assumptions. Then we redesign the architecture from first principles.

Who we work with

Our typical clients are senior leaders managing international responsibilities while raising multiple children. Most are in their late thirties to mid-forties, operating at director level or above, with households containing three or more dependents.

The situation we specialize in

You're leading projects or teams across multiple time zones. Your role requires strategic thinking, not just task execution. You have a partner who also works, or manages the household full-time. Your children are young enough to need active parenting, old enough to have complex schedules.

The current system works, barely. But it requires constant heroics. Small disruptions cascade into crises. You're effective professionally but feel absent personally, or present at home but anxious about work.

What we don't do

We don't offer generic productivity tips or motivational coaching. We don't help people "do more with less" or optimize themselves into burnout. We don't provide childcare solutions or delegate family responsibilities.

Our work is structural redesign, not personal optimization. If you're looking for ways to fit more into your existing schedule, we're not the right resource.

The principles that guide our work

Systems over willpower

Sustainable solutions don't require constant discipline. They make the right actions easier than the wrong ones through environmental design.

Constraints as design inputs

Non-negotiable family commitments aren't obstacles to work around. They're specifications to design for, which often produce better professional outcomes.

Asymmetry as strategy

High-impact professional work requires deep focus periods. Family presence requires reliability and availability. These are different resource requirements, not competing priorities.

Partner system integration

Household management is joint operations, not individual productivity. Solutions that optimize one person while burdening the other create different problems.
